Cy5 lysozyme is one of Nanocs fluorescent lysozyme conjugates. Lysozymes are a family of catlytic enzymes which damage bacterial cell walls by catalyzing hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues. Lysozyme is also known as muramidase or N-acetylmuramide glycanhydrolase. Nanocs provides a variety of chemically functionalized and bioconjugated lysozyme with different functionality. These functional lysozyme products can be used for enzyme studies, bioassay development and many other biomedical research. Nanocs Cy5 labeled lysozyme is a near infrared fluorescent lysozyme conjugate that has excitation/emission wavelength at 650/670 nm. This Cy5 lysozyme conjugate can be easily detected by fluorescent instruments in Cy5 channel. All our lysozyme conjugates were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
